Here’s a short condensed itinerary of our wine trip

  • We flew into Paris. The train to Champagne is just under 2 hours.

  • Car rental is the easy too if you have a designated driver.

  • You can bike or hire car, some Uber is available, but the area is a bit spread out.

Vineyards of Vouette & Sorbee

The wild biodynamic vineyards of Vouette & Sorbee, look unlike most of the other “clean cut” vineyards of Champagne.

Epernay France

The quaint capitol of Champagne, this is a good hub to base a wine journey and enjoy some excellent meals.

Billecart Salmon’s Cellar

The incredible cellars of Champagne are protected UNESCO world heritage sites, and you can see why from this picture.

Veuve Clicquot

The opulent Champagne house Veuve Clicquot. While the wine may be found everywhere, the House does still have much historical influence in modernizing how Champagne is made.

The massive vineyard of Champagne

Champagne is a sprawling wine region with many different growing conditions, traditions, and even wine making styles.

Food of Champagne

A famous local dish, Reims Ham, goes great with any Champagne, with the acidity cutting perfectly through the fatty meat.
