Travel Alsace france with us!

Here is a short itinerary of our wine trip to Austria

  • Fly to Paris

  • Take a train to Strasbourg and rent car from there. Strasbourg is a great headquarters.

Strasbourg

The largest city in the area, and centrally located with great restaurant and hotel options. Take the train here from Paris and rent a car.

Wissembourg

The idyllic village of Wissembourg near the German border in the far north of Alsace is a laid back place to casually enjoy wine and food and start a relaxing wine journey.

Colmar

The site of some of the best vineyards in Alsace and the most famous winemakers in the region, its a must visit for any wine and food fans.

Trimbach

Perhaps the most famous (and best?) winery in the region, they have been producing amazing wines for generations from some of the best vineyards in France. This is Clos St Hune, one of the greatest sites.

Clos á Fromage

Located in Strasbourg, this restaurant has many traditional local dishes, but the highlight is the amazing cheese selection!

Soil

What sets Alsace apart from many other wine regions is the crazy diversity of soil, and its impact on the flavor of the wines.
